Commissioning - London - Thursday 3 November 2011

The Inquiry's terms of reference require it to consider the role of commissioning bodies in relation to the events at Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust.  This seminar will look at the issues raised about commissioning in the material and evidence heard by the Inquiry so far, including, for example, the balance between commissioners and other parts of the system, and the role and skills of commissioners in commissioning high quality care focused on patients' needs.
