The hearings may cause distress to those affected by the events at the Trust and those asked to give evidence. The Inquiry has arranged for a confidential counselling service to be available by phone to patients, their families and witnesses throughout the Inquiry.
This service will be provided by Right Corecare and will be available from Monday 1st November 2010. It is free and confidential and will be available on 0800 1116 391 from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Right Corecare will also be able to put you in touch with organisations local to you, should you require more direct support or to speak to somebody face-to-face.
